Gryllefjord - surrounded by high mountains

Gryllefjord  is one of the mostly densely populated places in Troms county in Norway. You can almost jump from veranda to veranda. The village was once the largest fishing village on Senja and one of the most dynamic communities along the Norwegian coast. Gryllefjord has always been associated with line fishing and is together with Husøy a place where siesta is still practised.
