Ersfjord - in the mountainside in fjord of Ersfjorden

Ersfjord is a small village by the sea which got the second road link to Northern Senja and Senjahopen in 2004. The place is situated idyllic and fascinating right under the mountain side at the bottom of Ersfjorden, in a wild and beautiful scenery. The beach in Ersfjord is more than 1 km long and is one of Norway's most beautiful beaches with an incredible amount of visitors from all over Senja during sunny and nice summer days. When you consider the mountains and nature around the beach it must be one of Scandinavia's most special beaches, and absolutely worth a visit.
